Description
PERFECT FOR :
A family holiday which can easily sleep up to 6 people. You will be a 5 minute walk from the Montenvers train station to travel up and down the valley, from Saint Gervais le Fayet to Vallorcine and Switzerland, Montenvers also gives you access to the Mer de Glace, Ice Caves and Museum. The Aiguille du Midi is the same distance in the opposite direction. Basecamp is also only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Chamonix giving you a perfect base for your holiday.
THE BUILDING :
Your apartment is on the ground floor of this contemporary building, tastefully designed and well maintained to welcome you throughout the year.
INSIDE :
This elegant and spacious accommodation has two bedrooms and two bathrooms spread across sixty-fivem²; one double room and one twin room, both with showers.
The open plan dining room/kitchen and living room will give you plenty of space to relax after a day exploring the mountains, boasting two very comfortable sofas and a large flat screen smart TV. The dining table seats 6. There are also small collection games and books for children.
OUTSIDE :
You will have access to a private terrace with a table and chairs for 4 people, you can enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding peaks; there is a hedge running along the bottom of the terrace to give privacy. Please note that the decking can get slippery in winter.
GREAT LOCATION :
5 minutes from the centre of Chamonix. great for taking advantage of the local bars and restaurants, and convenient for the shops, supermarkets, and ski/bike hire.
GETTING AROUND :
You can walk to the central bus and train stations in just a few minutes,
Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains and buses in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums.
USEFUL BITS :
Of course, there is WiFi, provided by Orange, it is not fibre (yet) but it is a pretty good service. There is a ski locker and space to store bikes in the summer. The kitchen is fully equipped and should have everything that you need for your stay, including an electric filter coffee machine and raclette machine. You have a washing machine and dishwasher at your disposal. The Mollocks are located opposite the building for all your waste disposal.
YOUR ARRIVAL :
Arrive any time after 16h and with our self-check-in process, you do not need to worry about being a little earlier or later than planned. You will receive arrival instructions with a key box code to let yourself in when you arrive!
PARKING :
Your private parking space is conveniently located directly next to the apartment. Please note that there is only enough space for one car. There is additional parking opposite the apartment complex.
Summer Top Tip - Take the train up to Montenvers, there is an incredible hike along the Grand Balcon Nord to the Plan de l’Aiguille Midi offering you an incredible view of the whole valley. Alternatively if you’re fit enough and up for the challenge, why not go all the way from the bottom, walking up Planards.
Winter Top Tip - This apartment is only a few minutes walk from the heart of Chamonix where you can enjoy the vibrant apres ski.

My husband and I stayed here earlier this month for 7 days. The minute we walked in we couldn't believe how clean and lovely the place was. It had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped with washer/ dryer and diahwasher. It was in a great location with a short walk to the centre of Chamonix, a 5 minute walk to the Du Midi chairlift and a handy 5 minute walk to the local supermarket. The views from our verandah were breath taking. The place was very secure and quiet. Lots of handy brochures were left for sightseeing and a fantastic instructions book outlining everything. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Chamonix on their next visit.

I think on your map the house is on other side of road.
The door is difficult to unlock.
Found we couldn’t get the sound bar to work so volume on TV was low - maybe better instructions?

The parking was difficult as the snow doesn't get cleared and it was like an ice rink by the end of our stay. A snow shovel would have been handy.
