For those driving, the fastest route is via the motorway, then a dual carriageway to Moûtiers; you will arrive in Courchevel in 30 minutes via a wide, clear, and safe road.

The best ski slopes in Courchevel

At the heart of the 3 Valleys, Courchevel, along with the Méribel resort, boasts over 300 kilometers of slopes suitable for all levels, making it an exceptional playground in winter!   • L’Éclipse (black run): it is the longest black run in the Courchevel ski area, and also in the 3 Valleys! This slope was specially designed for the Alpine Ski World Championships held in Courchevel and Méribel in 2023; a descent of 3.3km and an average gradient of 30%, a real challenge that only experienced skiers can take on!
  • Les Chapelets (red run): Little frequented, located at the far east of the Courchevel and 3 Valleys ski area and bordering the Avals valley, this slope is ideal for skiers looking for a descent without too many crowds. It culminates at 2,250 meters of altitude and is located in the heart of the forest above Courchevel-Moriond. Furthermore, it offers breathtaking views of the Dent du Villard and is accessible via the Signal or Chapelets chairlifts.
  • La Combe de La Saulire (red run): this slope is considered the most famous in Courchevel, and for good reason: it is wide, alternates between sustained and gentler slopes, and above all, it is wonderfully undulating. A real delight for skiers and snowboarders, with 3km of wide turns over 700m of vertical drop.
  • The Vertical Xperience slopes (black runs): if you love thrills and are an expert skier, then the Vertical Xperience slopes are for you! These are the most challenging black runs in the 3 Valleys, with an average gradient of 33° and a maximum gradient of 38.6°! To access them, you must go to the summit of the legendary Saulire to take them on and experience a unique adventure!
  • Folyères (blue run): if you’re looking for a timeless slope, take the Folyères run! This blue run, away from the crowds, winds through a spruce forest and becomes an ideal terrain for skiers of all levels. A tip: take this slope when the weather isn’t perfect, and you’ll imagine yourself in a Nordic country!

Ski passes in Courchevel and their prices

For ski enthusiasts planning to visit Courchevel this year, different rates are offered for the 2025-2026 season: firstly, solo rates vary depending on whether you plan to ski during high season (December 20 to April 10) or low season (December 6 to 19 and April 11 to 19): to give you an idea, in high season, expect to pay €74.80 per adult for one day, and €61.30 for a child. There are also Family Flex rates (for 3 skiers or more), which are around €306.60 for 6 days.

Activities to do in Courchevel besides skiing
