When should I book my chalet in La Clusaz for the winter season?

La Clusaz is a very popular resort. For school vacation periods (Christmas, New Year’s, and February), we recommend booking 6 to 10 months in advance. For off-season or summer stays, a lead time of 3 to 4 months generally allows you to maintain a wide choice among our prestige properties.

Which beaches at Lake Annecy allow dogs?

Most supervised beaches prohibit dogs in the summer. However, you can swim with your dog in certain natural areas between Sevrier and Saint-Jorioz, or at the Duingt port. The Sentier des Roselières is also an excellent option for a walk with paws in the water.

Where can I walk my dog in and around Annecy?

For a city walk, Parc Charles Bosson (near the Impérial Palace) accepts dogs on leashes. For hiking enthusiasts, we recommend the Semnoz or the Bout du Lac Nature Reserve in Doussard (note that some areas of the reserve are protected and off-limits to pets).

Is Annecy city center (Old Town) dog-friendly?

Absolutely. Annecy is a very pet-friendly city. Most restaurant terraces in the Old Town and shops accept dogs. Just remember to avoid peak hours on Saturday afternoons for your pet’s comfort.
